So we headed out into Amsterdam once again. First priority was for M and I to find something to eat. We stopped at Rembrandt's Corner that was set right on a canal. Our waiter, who we dubbed 'Dirtier Euro-Jeff', was hilarious. At one point, some girls walked up to the outside cafe and asked him for a menu. He replied, "Menu? I AM the menu." The girls promptly walked away, while he pleaded for them to return. So the food was good and the service entertained. After dinner, walked to Red Light District again and checked out the freak circus. It was a lot more crowded than last week because it's Saturday. We then sat in the big square in the middle of the city and people-watched.
After, we got ice cream at Rene's Croissants. The guy looked like a white Bruno. Straight up. When he handed us the ice cream he said, "4.50 Euro, Ja?" There was a jar on the side of the counter labled ""Tip 2 Sexy." We put some change in.
In our way home, we got caught in a rainstorm and had to take cover in a dark alley in the Red Light District. Not cool. We waited there a couple minutes, then figured just make a break for the hotel. We arrived wet, but happy and ready for our journey to Kenya!
